An all-new version of VIPBackup is available starting 11/25/09. All existing customers are encouraged to move to the new version as soon as possible. However, we understand that there are circumstances that will not allow everyone to switch to the new version right away. That's why we will continue to support the previous versions of the backup software for all customers that created accounts prior to 11/25/09. Rest assured, you will continue to enjoy the same reliable service you have come to expect.
Please use the links below if you need to reinstall the software for existing accounts created prior to 11/25/09.

VIPBackup (Home Edition) - the Home Edition has a simpler, more basic interface and lacks certain business-class features found only in the Premium Edition above (e.g. this edition lacks support for UNIX/Solaris/Netware, MS Exchange, MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Lotus Notes etc.)

How long do I have to make the switch to the "all-new" version?
For now, there is no set target date. We will give all of our existing customers as long as is reasonably necessary to move to the new version. We will continue to support the previous software versions while all of our existing customers are making the transition.
Is the new backup client software very different from the previous version?
Yes. That said, in terms of feature-set, the new backup client software is very similar. In fact, it is superior in many ways which is the reason we are making this transition. However, the interface, screens, reports, etc. are very different and will take some time to get used to (if you are already used to the previous version). We encourage all existing customers to go ahead and download/install the new version, setup a Trial account, and start "kicking the tires". We will gladly extend the Trial past the standard 30 days if you need us to.
Why should I switch to the new version?
To show our appreciation to our existing, valued customers, if you make the switch to the new version you will be eligible to receive 2 free months of service for each account switched. Once your previous account has been deactivated on our servers (only after you tell us you're ready), you will receive a credit to your account for the 2 free months.
